First we walked down the main street to have a look at the local shops. Fortunately it was sunny outside and everything was open. There were so many souvenir shops which sell the same stuff - the usual Big Ben and London Eye rings and tea. But if you look carefully you see some unusual places like this little shop.

I'm writing this post to tell you about my trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. My best friend from high school and I have decided to meet in a different place every three months because we both like traveling. We meet in places that are situated between her town and mine. Since we'd met in Bath and Oxford already, this time we decided to meet in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is Shakespeare's birth place. I've been there before but that was many years ago. We had only 5-6 hours to spend there but we had a lovely time.
This Alice in Wonderland-themed shop made me really happy. We were surrounded by so many temptations - cups, cards, postcards, little notebooks, magnets etc. I'm not going to lie - I didn't resist and bought a lovely Alice notebook as a souvenir for me to remember this trip.
