Hello!
I haven't posted anything on my blog for over an year. What happened? I didn't have the time, nor the inspiration to write about cosmetics. I started working for MAC and talking about cosmetics and doing make-up turned into my profession. I know you'll agree dealing with make-up for 8 hours a day is enough. This is why I had stopped blogging for some time.
I'm back with a short post review of my favourite make-up remover - MAC Cleanse Off Oil.
The good things first...
+ Really easy to remove waterproof make-up with. You start with dry hands, massage it onto your face, and then wash with water. All make-up - gone! Best thing is it leaves no residue.
+ PRO tip: When I was working for MAC we poured water in the bottle so we didn't have to wash it off the client's face. We put it on a cotton pad and cleansed the face. Then sprayed some MAC Fix+. It does make the product less strong, but that's the only option if you don't want to wash it off.
+ It's good for all skin types. My skin is oily, so I usually stay away from oily products, but this one is different. It contains oils of jojoba seed, olive fruit, wheat germ, lavender. It's quite moisturizing.
+ There is a travel sized version of this product. It's 30ml and great if you're not sure you want to spend the money for the full sizes bottle yet. But tust me it's worth it. It's quite pricey, but it lasts a looong time.
And now the bad...
- One thing I dislike about this product is its packaging. You're just bound to spill it when you travel. The bottle leaks so bad :(
Do I recommend it?
I give it 4 stars. I love it. The only thing I'd change is the packaging. I've been wearing make-up for many years, I've tried dozens of make-up removers. This is still my favourite one.
