I finally decided to write a short (or not that short) post about my favourite cosmetics this summer. Most things in this post I've had since 2011 but I started using them more often just now. 

MAC Soft’n’gentle MSF

I got this highlighter in 2010 but I hadn't used it much. Not because I didn't like it but because I was obsessed with highlighters then and had others to use (which reminds me I have to make a post about highlighting and contouring products).

This highlighter is a bit more visible than I'd like but it's suitable for summer. It gives the face a nice 

Stratford-upon-Avon

I'm writing this post to tell you about my trip to Stratford-upon-Avon. My best friend from high school and I have decided to meet in a different place every three months because we both like traveling. We meet in places that are situated between her town and mine.  Since we'd met in Bath and Oxford already, this time we decided to meet in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is Shakespeare's birth place.  I've been there before but that was many years ago. We had only 5-6 hours to spend there but we had a lovely time.  

First we walked down the main street to have a look at the local shops. Fortunately it was sunny outside and everything was open. There were so many souvenir shops which sell the same stuff - the usual Big Ben and London Eye rings and tea. But if you look carefully you see some unusual places like this little shop. 

This Alice in Wonderland-themed shop made me really happy. We were surrounded by so many temptations -  cups, cards, postcards, little notebooks, magnets etc. I'm not going to lie - I didn't resist and bought a lovely Alice notebook as a souvenir for me to remember this trip.

I haven't been posting lately for which I apologize. I was busy with random things - I graduated, moved out of my student accomodation and had a lovely little holiday with my parents. 

I like experimenting with make-up every day so the cosmetic product I finish most often is my make-up remover. I've tried so many types - oils, wipes, micellar waters, lotions, bi-phase etc. What I don't like

REVIEW: 88 matte eyeshadow palette

Hello!

I wanted to do black x red make-up the other day but I though I had no red eyeshadows. Then I realized I had this old 88 color eyeshadow palette in some drawer. I've been interested in make-up since 2006 and I love trying new things so it's normal that I have accumulated quite a lot of stuff. I had forgotten I even had this palette. It's been around for a long time - I've first read about it on some blog in 2007. Different brands are selling 88 color palettes but nothing can convince me it's not the same 10 USD Ebay palette. I'm sure most make-up enthusiasts have tried it already but I'm still going to write a short review. Even if I really hate writing negative reviews.

REVIEW: Too Faced Candy Bar Palette + swatches

Last week I did my friend's trial make-up for graduation. In exchange she gave me this brand new Too Faced palette. Yes, she bought the palette just because it came with a chocolate-shaped phone case! I'd never used anything by Too Faced but I'd read a lot of reviews so I knew what to expect in tеrms of quality. This palette is not available in the UK but retails for about 15 USD in the USA which is not too bad. 

1920s Make-up

Just some make-up I did last week. The typical 20s look with a twist - small lips, drawn on eyebrows and black eyeshadow.
